We work hard...and we have a lot of fun. When I started my first company 23 years ago, I said I was "building a culture, not a company". I had my first son just a few years after starting the first company. I hired a coach to help guide me through my first years of motherhood and business ownership. The first thing we worked on was our company values....which have stood in place solid to guide our way and are so visible and present with our amazing team today. They are - 👏Teamwork - not just with our own team, but with our clients ☀️Energy - not just our work, but our ideas! 💪Accountability - we own the success and the "opportunities to improve" 🥇Commitment to Excellence - only the best will do! 📰Honesty - bad news early! Have you defined your personal, team and organisational goals? Remember that values are aspirational - they are your guideposts, your reference points. And during tough times, they can help you to re-calibrate and get on track. I know it certainly hasn't always been smooth sailing for me! (Rough seas 🌊 make great captains!)
