Abstract
This utility programmatically updates all reports contained within IBM Cognos Workspace widgets to the latest version of the original report.

The zip file contains the application, sample run script and a templated configuration file for both UNIX and windows operating systems.
Certain Advantages:
· Can update a single workspace, or all workspaces nested within an IBM Cognos Connection folder.
· IBM Cognos workspace authors no longer need to manually update widgets on a per widget basis.
· Prompt values are preserved.

Prerequisites
IBM Cognos 10.2 BI Server has to be installed and running on the same server the utility is executed from.
Installation Instructions
1. Download and unzip the attached zip file.
2. Edit the run.bat (on Windows) or run.sh (on UNIX\Linux) to point CRN_HOME to the root of the IBM Cognos 10 BI install. For example:CRN_HOME=D:/Apps/Progra~1/ibm/cognos/c10/
3. Customize config.txt according to instructions in the User's Guide and use appropriate run script to launch the utility.
